GTAV Checklist

  • Good story and presentation
  • Recognizable character types that are well portrayed
  • Fantastic soundtrack
  • Instant perfect scores from all critics
  • Terrible PS2-era controls
  • Cheap Tamagotchi-like commitments to pad game and restrict full-exploration or full-mission gameplay
  • Shitty minigames with even worse controls that are shoehorned into the early parts of the game
  • Obscure collectibles for achievement minded people
  • Scripted missions that don’t allow anything remotely dynamic to happen
  • A main character whose entire story arc doesn’t make any sense if you sandbox and go on massive crime sprees
